Once a disgraced pariah, Ferrand has recently returned to the ranks of nobility. When he is not called to his duties in Ishgard, he serves as a department lead for the Moonshadows Archive.He carries himself with a formality that even a fall to the Brume could not shake, paired with a dry wit that can turn bitter at times. Alongside this is an unfailing gentleness - particularly toward his children - and a curiosity for things esoteric and dangerous.

House Ronsard is a lesser noble family, respected and dutiful citizens of Ishgard for fifteen generations.Present living family includes:

Recent Events:

  • The neighbors of the Ronsard estate often find their gardens full of mogmallow fluff.

  • In most recent upset, Ser Belfort has returned alive and well; gossip abounds, as neither brother has given explanation as to where he's been.

  • Of late there has been a number of Limsan pirates in and out of the estate grounds.

History:

  • Those who've lived in Ishgard overlong may recall the younger Ronsard brother Ser Belfort, and that he was favored as heir until he was declared lost fighting the Dravanian Horde some twenty years ago.

  • The house's reputation abruptly crashed down some scant months before the Calamity froze the region. Word was the lady knight of the house deserted to the southern city-states. A very public investigation followed Lord Ferrand de'Ronsard's demand for a divorce; fortunate that no proof of heresy was found, else he would have fallen far further than the Brume.

  • Last year House Ronsard was uplifted from its fall and reinstated, in thanks for Ferrand's service to Ishgard in keeping the peace with Dravania.
